Just when you thought The CW was out of the vampire business, the network announced that Moonlight is officially headed to The CW Seed.

Moonlight follows Mick St. John (Alex O'Loughlin), a private eye in Los Angeles with a huge secret. Fifty years ago, Mick was turned into a vampire on his wedding night by his new wife, Coraline (Shannyn Sossamon), and he's been trying to keep his true nature a secret ever since. His attempts to maneuver the modern world are helped along by his powerful vampire mentor, Josef (Jason Dohring). Mick isn't just a bloodthirsty monster though, he's a pretty decent guy who helps out mortals in need in his spare time.

A terrible confluence of events (the writers strike of 2008 and a near miss with the Twilight-era revival of the vampire genre) led CBS to cancel Moonlight after one season, despite the cult following it developed. Fortunately for thirsty fans, O'Loughlin stayed around on TV in CBS' Hawaii Five-0.

You can now stream all 16 episodes of this one-hit wonder on The CW Seed.
