Miley Cyrus Declines Invitation to High School Prom

Miley Cyrus may have done some crazy things lately, but she won't go so far as to go to prom with a high school student. (Or maybe it's just not crazy enough?)

Matt Peterson of Arcadia High School posted a video on YouTube asking Cyrus to his prom, explaining that the singer had changed his life. "I have been a fan of yours from the beginning," he says in the video, in which he is holding up roses and Cyrus' signature foam finger over his otherwise nude body. "I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life."

Of course, the video went viral, so Cyrus responded — but it wasn't the news Matt wanted to hear. "Dear Matt Peterson, I don't think I'll be able to make it to prom, but why don't you come to my AZ show & hang w me?" Cyrus tweeted Saturday. "Don't forget a corsage."
