Report: Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Indicted for Tax Fraud

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been charged with tax evasion, TMZreports.

The Jersey Shore alum, 32, was indicted in New Jersey this week and is expected to turn himself in to federal authorities on Wednesday, according to TMZ. His brother Marc was also named in the indictment and charged with conspiracy to commit tax fraud.

The U.S. Attorney claims Sorrentino did not pay the full amount of taxes he owed on $8.9 million in earnings, and intentionally filed fraudulent income tax returns, TMZ reports.

Sorrentino faces up to nine years in federal prison if convicted.
