We may be getting closer to a Downton Abbey movie. Star Michelle Dockery recently said she'd be on board for a film version of the British drama.

"I think there is potential for a film," Dockery told The Telegraph. "That is something I would wholeheartedly consider, so we will see. It may not be over yet."

Creator Julian Fellowes has also expressed interest in turning the series into a movie.

Why Downton Abbey delivered the perfect ending

After a successful six-season run, Downton ended in March, and Dockery says she would be thrilled to reunite with her costars. "The thing that I miss the most are my cast members. But we are still very close," she said.

Until then, Dockery can be seen in the upcoming TNT drama, Good Behavior. The actress stars as Letty Dobesh, a con artist who is the polar opposite of her Downton character, Mary Crawley.
