Michael Ealy Joins Secrets & Lies For the Next Tragic Murder Mystery

Secrets & Lies has found its new leading man.

After wrapping a villainous run on The Following, Michael Ealy has joined the anthology crime drama for Season 2, TVGuide.com can confirm.

Ealy will play opposite Juliette Lewis, the only cast member returning from the show's freshman run. In the second season, Detective Andrea Cornell (Lewis) will tackle a brand new case, this time following Eric Warner (Ealy) and the investigation into his wife's murder.

Described as "smart, well-educated and hard-working," Warner is at the top of his game, heir apparent to his family's private equity firm and is married to "the one" when tragedy strikes and his wife Kate is murdered.

As with Secrets & Lies Season 1, the second season will debut on ABC's midseason schedule.
