Jessica Jones Mega Buzz: Jessica's Superhero Costume Will Make an Appearance

Unlike her comic book inspiration, Netflix's version of Jessica Jones was never an official caped crusader. But that doesn't mean her superhero Spandex won't make an special appearance.

As a special treat for Marvel fans, the series features a flashback wherein Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) attempts to convince her best friend Jessica (Krysten Ritter) that she needs a proper costume and alias if she really wants to fight crime. But the cantankerous, no-effs-left-to-give Jessica has zero desire to put on Jewel's iconic white catsuit (let alone call herself Jewel).

While, yes, Jewel's costume and bright pink hair wouldn't exactly jive with Netflix's gritty noir Jessica Jones, the series also wouldn't have been the same without this cheeky nod to its roots.
