Now thatHawaii Five-0's McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) has killed his archnemesis Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos), will another villain be groomed to replace him as the show's Big Bad?

Remember when Danny (Scott Caan) and Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) borrowed $5.5 million from Chin's jailbird former brother-in-law Gabriel in order to pay a ransom to rescue Danny's fugitive brother Matt? Not only did it not work — Matt was killed and Danny murdered his abductors in retaliation — in the March 6 episode, Gabriel returns when Danny and Chin are arrested for "deadly past transgressions." And we don't think he's going to be happy.

"It seems like whatever Chin does that's questionable comes back to haunt him in some ways," Kim tells TVGuide.com. "There will be repercussions ... You might be witnessing something of an origin story here."

In fact, Kim says Gabriel would be a "worthy successor" to Wo Fat as the series' primary villain. "To me, there are parallels between this character and Wo Fat," Kim says. "I think seeds are being planted. ... [Wo Fat] was... such an important part of the Hawaii Five-0 mythology. I think, in some ways, what it marks is the start of Stage 2 for our version of Hawaii Five-0."
