Mega Buzz: What Might Keep Owen and Amelia Apart on Grey's Anatomy?

After weeks of dancing around their obvious attraction for each other, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) are finally taking things to the next level on Grey's Anatomy. But, this being Grey's, don't expect the road to happiness to be smooth.
In fact, the emotional baggage that initially bonded Amelia and Owen could eventually come between them. For starters, Owen still harbors hopes of having children. "It was the thing that broke him and Cristina up, essentially. So I think he's going to honor that," McKidd tells TVGuide.com. "I think whoever he is looking at as a potential life partner, he wants to make sure that they are on board with having kids. I don't think he wants to go down that path again."

And, unfortunately, Amelia's tragic past no doubt makes the baby talk difficult. Private Practice fans will remember that when Amelia discovered that her baby would be born without a brain, she decided to give birth anyway so that she could donate his organs. "She carried this whole pregnancy with a baby that she knew was not going to live," Scorsone says. "Amelia's very private about some of her deep pain." Come on, guys, babies are supposed to bring people together!
