MEDIUM'S LARGE DEAL

Lifetime has agreed to pay $1.35 million an episode — the most lavish payout ever in the network's 20-year history — for rebroadcast rights to NBC's Medium. The reruns will begin airing in 2009, at which time cell-phone radiation will have mutated us all into psychics, thus making the show a bit boring. (Cue Debbie Downer music.)
