Watch J.D. Pardo and Clayton Cardenas Crush Our 'Who Said It: Mayans M.C. or Run DMC?' Game

In between its bloody shootouts and Machiavellian double-crosses, Mayans M.C. has flow. The co-creators of the FX drama, Sons of Anarchy's Kurt Sutter and filmmaker Elgin James, infuse the show with Shakespearean dialogue to emphasize the labyrinthine plots, giving the series a literary leg to stand above other action dramas.

But you know who else had flow? Legendary rap group Run DMC! Continuing our string of fun and silly games we love to play with the casts of your favorite shows, we gave actors from Mayans M.C. a line of dialogue from their show or a verse from one of Run DMC's many songs and asked them to guess which was which.

It turns out they really know their sh--. J.D. Pardo, who pays EZ Reyes on Mayans, and Clayton Cardenas, who play's EZ's brother, Angel, really got into the game and were even able to say which Mayans character said the dialogue in many cases. But the real surprise was Danny Pino, who plays cartel boss Miguel Galindo, who carefully thought out each question, sometimes by even singing it to see if it sounded like a song, to make his guesses.
