The actress starred in many of your favorite cult films
Actress Mary Ellen Trainor, most famous for appearing in every Lethal Weapon film, has died. She was 62.
Trainor passed away in her Montecito, Calif., home on May 20 of complications from pancreatic cancer, her friend and producer Kathleen Kennedy told The Hollywood Reporter.
Trainor, who married prolific producer and director Robert Zemeckis in 1980, began her acting career in Zemeckis' 1984 film Romancing the Stone. She then appeared as the mom in the cult classic Goonies, as well as all four Lethal Weapon movies as psychiatrist Dr. Stephanie Woods.
Some of her other work includes Die Hard, Scrooged, Ghostbusters II, Back to the Future Part II, Forrest Gump and Freaky Friday. On TV, she had roles on Roswell, Parker Lewis Can't Lose and Relativity.

Trainor is survived by her ex-husband, whom she divorced in 2000, their son Alex, her mother, Jane, and siblings Ned, Jack, Barbara and Carolyn.
