Mark Harmon is taking on another military project, and no, it's not another NCISspin-off.

Harmon is joining forces with CBS once again to develop a drama based on former Navy SEAL Brandon Webb and John David Mann's best-selling book The Red Circle: My Life in the Navy SEAL Sniper Corps and How I trained America's Deadliest Marksmen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The drama will be told through the perspective of an experienced, but freshly promoted Navy SEAL who has joined a troubled platoon. It is inspired by Webb's experience serving with SEAL Team 3, a Naval Special Warfare Group One Training Detachment sniper cell.

Why are Tony and Gibbs fighting on NCIS?

Harmon, who executive-produces NCIS and its spin-off NCIS: New Orleans, will serve as an executive producer through his Wings Productions. Webb will also produce, while Todd Robinson will write the script.
