March will reprise her role as former ADA Cabot in April
Alex Cabot and Olivia Benson are back together again!
Stephanie March posted a sweet pic of her Law & Order: SVUreunion with Mariska Hargitay and despite departing as a series regular in Season 5, there's still plenty of affection between the two. "It's love, I tell you. #SVU#cabot #benson," she wrote on Instagram.
March is set to reprise her role as the former assistant district attorney this season in the episode "Sunk Cost Fallacy," which will air sometime in April. The story finds Sgt. Benson searching for an abducted woman and her young daughter and along the way, she'll end up crossing paths with her old friend Alex.
March isn't the only Law & Order alum to drop by SVU this season. Sam Waterston reprised his role as former ADA Jack McCoy in February to welcome Chicago Justice's Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) to the team as ADA Rafael Barba's (Raul Esparza) full-time replacement.
With March and Waterston revisiting their iconic characters, we're hoping their appearances inspire another ex-SVU cast member to pay their former colleagues a visit. (Looking at you, Christopher Meloni!) In the meantime, check out Hargitay and March's awesome reunion in the sweet pic below.
