Louis C.K. dropped a few jaws this weekend when he dropped his new series Horace and Pete on his website Saturday with no advance notice. As he has in the past, the outspoken comic -- on an extended break from his hit FX show Louie-- cut out the middleman and is charging viewers $5 per download for the content. "Hi there," he wrote. "Horace and Pete episode one is available for download. We hope you like it."

According to Gothamist, the roughly hour-long premiere takes place in an Irish bar, which is run by Horace (C.K.) and Pete (Steve Buscemi). Guest stars include Alan Alda, Edie Falco and Jessica Lange. Horace and Pete leans more towards a drama, with characters discussing current events, including the presidential race and the upcoming Super Bowl.
