Another member of the extended Tanner family has signed on for Fuller House.

Lori Loughlin revealed on Good Morning America Thursday that her character, Aunt Becky, will officially be a part of Netflix's Full House reboot, which is set to premiere next year.

"I'm very excited," Loughlin said. "It's going to be really great to be back with the whole cast. It'll be a lot of fun."

John Stamos "heartbroken" that the Olsen twins aren't joining Fuller House

Of course, the whole cast is not returning. Last week, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen revealed that they won't be participating on the show.

"We would've loved it [if they had returned]," Loughlin said on GMA. "But I understand."

Fuller House will follow DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), a recent widow who invites her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) to move in with her and help her raise her two sons.

Loughlin and John Stamos, who played husband and wife Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on the original series, will appear in the first episode "and maybe ... pop up here and there" throughout subsequent installments, Loughlin said Thursday.

Fuller House will get underway with a one-hour reunion special, followed by 13 original episodes.
