Lee, who's reteaming with Hope creator Greg Garcia (who also created Lee's 2005—2009 sitcom My Name Is Earl), spent hours in the makeup chair to get Smokey's worn-out look. "You probably won't be able to recognize him," says Plimpton. "He looks incredible!"
