Liza Weil Adds Her Name to Gilmore Girls Revival

Rory (Alexis Bledel) will have her nemesis-turned-best-friend to guide her through the Gilmore Girls revival, as TVLine confirms that Liza Weil will return to Stars Hollow as Paris Geller.

Gilmore star Kelly Bishop told TVLine that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has incorporated some really classic Geller shenanigans into the revival. "Paris is a hoot," she said. "It's unbelievable what Amy has written for Paris. People are going to have so much fun with it."

Weil joins Bishop, Matt Czuchry (Logan), Scott Patterson (Luke), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Keiko Agena (Lane), Lauren Graham (Lorelai) and Bledel for the four-episode revival that will stream on Netflix.

If the influx of stars returning to the show hasn't gotten your heart racing about a trip back to Stars Hollow, maybe the first on-set photo will. Production began on the series on Tuesday in Los Angeles and Truesdale posted the first on-set photo with Graham to mark the occasion.

Now if a couple more of Rory's ex-boyfriends could commit, everything would be perfect.
