Lisa Ling is expecting her second child, People confirms.
The magazine reports that Ling and her husband, oncologist and biotech firm president, Paul Song are expecting another child. The couple had a daughter, Jett, in 2013.
Song and Ling were married in 2007 and got pregnant in 2010, but unfortunately the first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
"I felt more like a failure than I'd felt in a very long time," Ling said of the incident, reflecting on losing her pregnancy at seven weeks. "When I heard the doctor say there was no heartbeat it was like bam, like a knife through the heart."
The news of the new pregnancy comes just ahead of the third season of Ling's CNN documentary series This is Life with Lisa Ling.
