All he wanted was a yes, but actor Isaac Lamb is getting a big bonus after proposing to his girlfriend Amy Frankel with a very special performance of "Marry You."
In the video, shot Wednesday and posted Friday, Lamb's brother asks Frankel to listen to a song while wearing headphones. However, she gets more of a live show when she sits in the back of an open car as friends and family jump out and lip-sync to the Bruno Mars tune before Lamb shows up at the end of the video — in a suit — to get down on one knee and pop the question.
Frankel, 33, said yes, and days later, the video has gotten more than 1.8 million views online as of Sunday. "It's crazy," Lamb, 31, told The Oregonian. "I thought friends and family would like it, and I figured that's where it would end. I can't believe it."
"I was completely floored," Frankel said. "We had talked about wanting to get married, but I never would have expected that in a million years."
The two met six years ago and plan to marry in a year.
