"Our entire clinical team is in unanimous agreement that if these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure," CEO and founder of Cliffside Malibu Richard Taite wrote in a letter to the judge.

Lohan was originally ordered to rehab after she violated her probation last summer by lying to a police officer at the scene of a car accident. Next month she'll sit down with Oprah Winfrey for an interview and the 27-year-old  has also signed on to do an eight-episode docu-series for OWN that will premiere next year.
