Bradley Cooper's availability is not infinite, but there's a chance you'll see him beyond his brief appearance in the pilot of the new CBS series Limitless.

"Bradley really has been so committed to the show and he has every intention of coming back," executive producer Alex Kurtzman told reporters during the Television Critics Association fall previews on Monday. "We've been talking quite a bit about how to bring him back and in what capacity."

The Oscar-nominated actor, who starred in the 2011 film upon which the series is based and is an executive producer on the series, reprises his role as Eddie Morra in the premiere.

"[Eddie's] agenda is very, very unclear. You can't tell if he's good or if he's bad," Kurtzman explained. "Certainly, there's something going on there, and so the plan is that there may be people who speak for him, but Eddie will return."

Limitless stars Greek's Jake McDorman as Brian Finch, a man who develops superhuman abilities after taking a mysterious drug called NZT. The series is a sequel rather than a remake of the film.

Limitless premieres Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10/9c on CBS.
