The Con Will Go On: Leverage Renewed for Second Season

Leverage has leveraged itself a second season.
The TNT drama about a band of con artists who use their skills to rip off other thieves — from crooked developers to corrupt companies — received an order for a 15-episode sophomore run, the cabler announced. The Tuesday-night hit stars Academy Award winner Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Aldis Hodge and Beth Riesgraf.
Riesgraf, who plays team daredevil Parker, talked about the reasons for Leverage's success in an interview with TVGuide.com Monday.
"It's a fun show that really anybody can watch," she offered. "And there's something satisfying about seeing the bad guys get messed with, while the good guys are being helped." (Watch for that full Q&A on Tuesday.)
Leverage is ad-supported cable's top entertainment program in its Tuesdays-at-10 pm/ET timeslot, according to TNT.
