One mega-villain wasn't enough to take down DC's Legends of Tomorrow, so now the show is introducing a whole league of super villains -- and some of them are very familiar faces.

It was announced Saturday during the panel at San Diego Comic-Con that Legends will introduce the Legion of Doom in the sophomore season, featuring some of the best villains from the its sister comic shows. Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) join from Arrow with The Flash's Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).

"For Season 2 of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV's first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV's first-ever team of Super-Villains," executive producer Marc Guggenheim said. "[We] recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash's deadliest adversaries. Being huge fans of the Challenge of the Superfriends -- we've come to call this group our 'Legion of Doom.'"

If it took the crew of the Waverider an entire season to defeat Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) -- how will they handle this crew?

Luckily, they'll have some help. It turns out that Rex Tyler aka Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) isn't the only Justice Society of America member set to show up on Legends. Some of the yet-to-be-cast characters include Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-Nite.

Legends of Tomorrowreturns for Season 2 Thursday October 13 at 8/7c on The CW.
