Legacies Exclusive Sneak Peek: Alaric Shakes Things Up at Salvatore School

As if there wasn't ENOUGH drama there already

Tensions between the students at the Salvatore School on Legacies has always run a little high, especially when it comes to forming interspecies cliques. Werewolves, vampires and witches tend to keep to their own, but that's all about to change thanks to Alaric's (Matthew Davis) newest school policy.

In this exclusive sneak peek on Thursday's episode, Alaric decides to form an honor council for the school (after some pointed prompting from his daughters) to give the students more of a voice in the rules that govern their existence in Mystic Falls. Instead of voting on prom colors though, this council will have to make decisions on things like whether bunny blood should be an acceptable diet alternative for vampires and whether witches are allowed to learn offensive magic in class. That's a lot of responsibility for a few teenagers!

The only catch is this isn't your typical popularity content. The council will have three members: a witch, a werewolf and a vampire, each elected by their peers. Naturally, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) will campaign her little heart out since status is kind of a drug for her, but what about MG (Quincy Fouse)? This seems right up his alley, but his recent falling out with the vampires over his friends' feeding habits might make this a hard race for him. As for the werewolves... will Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) challenge the pack's Alpha for the position?

If you thought politics in D.C. had gotten ugly, just wait until you add fangs into the mix!

Legacies airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.
