No word if Benson will walk away with a rose in the end.

Lifetime scored big with UnReal, its scripted series that takes on behind-the-scenes drama of a reality dating show. It's been such a hit that the idea seems to be catching on, since the premise seems to have inspired an episode of Law & Order: SVU.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an upcoming episode of the procedural's current season will feature fictional dating show "Heart's Desire," its off-screen drama, tensions between the show's married creators as well as its on-screen participants.

Law & Order: SVU & Chicago Med renewed as Dick Wolf extends deal with NBC.

While SVU is no stranger to episodes set around Hollywood drama, this idea veers from its tried-and-true approach of working around a specific story - like the 2004 episode inspired by the Michael Jackson molestation accusations, for example - but rather a general idea and belief of how shows like this operate. Should be an interesting one for sure, but the real question is, will Benson walk away with a rose when all is said and done?

Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
