Last Man Standing Sneak Peek: The News Is Tearing the Baxters Apart

The political divide will split the Baxters down the middle in the Season 7 premiere of Last Man Standing -- and it'll start with Mike (Tim Allen) and Ryan (Jordan Masterson). In TV Guide's exclusive sneak peek of Friday's episode, the two get into a heated argument over the state of this country and the political turmoil that's keeping a lot of the country awake at night.

Die-hard liberal Ryan is stressing out over every piece of breaking news that he sees and whether he wants to raise his son in this country under the current administration. Meanwhile, Mike claims the news is creating drama to keep people watching and that Ryan should focus on the small things that he can control rather than getting worked up over national politics.

There's some jabs at both Trump and Obama -- though neither are mentioned by name -- but at the heart of the clip we can see the stress the current political climate is putting on American families.
