Lamar Odom's Hospitalization Is Under Investigation

The circumstances surrounding Lamar Odom's hospitalization are under investigation.

In a press conference Wednesday, the Nye County Sheriff's Department said the case is an "active investigation." After reports surfaced that Odom had "virtually every drug imaginable" in his system, authorities confirmed that Odom had used cocaine and "up to 10 tabs of sexual performance enhancements over a three-day period" at the Love Ranch South, a legal brothel in Nevada. The herbal Viagra had been provided to Odom by employees of the brothel, who could face charges, according to police.

The former NBA player, 35, was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas on Tuesday, after he was found unconscious with blood coming out of his nose and mouth. He remains in critical condition, and is reportedly surrounded by family members, including his ex Liza Morales and their two children, and his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.

TMZ reports that Odom spent $75,000 in three days at the Love Ranch, covering the costs of a VIP suite and two working girls who were "at his beck and call" for his stay.
