TLC has pulled the plug on Kat Von D's series, LA Ink, after four seasons, but she has another reason to celebrate: she is engaged to Jesse James again, People reports.

TLC released a statement Thursday saying that the docu-series will wrap this season. "TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last," TLC said in a statement. "The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D's journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles. The series finale will air September 15th at 10 p.m."

Von D took to Twitter soon after the statement was released and denied that the decision to end the show came from TLC. "I love how me deciding to not continue doing LA Ink, turns into being 'cancelled,'" she tweeted. "Thanks @TLC."

Von D then accused the network of trying to manipulate footage in an effort to expand on her recent break-up from James. Just days after the couple ended their first engagement, Season 4 of LA Ink premiered, and began chronicling their relationship and that original engagement. "In an effort to capitalize on my recent break-up, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn't happen while filming," she told People. "I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and viewers."

Jesse James and Kat Von D end engagement

Von D also said she was "grateful" for the opportunity, but is "ready to end this chapter" and focus on other projects.

Just as one door closed — with the imminent end of LA Ink — another door re-opened. Von D and James confirmed Thursday that they are back together and engaged again. "Sometimes you are only given one chance in life," James told People. "It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her."
