Kylie Jenner has come under fire for posing in a photo shoot in which she appears to be wearing blackface.
But the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star insists that it was just the lighting of the photo.

Jenner posted the photo on Instagram over the weekend with the caption, "What I wish I looked like all the time." In the photo, she has magenta hair, light blue eyes and a metallic sheen to her skin.
After noticing that she had ignited a firestorm on Instagram and Twitter, Jenner later amended the caption to read: "This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down."
She also posted a second photo on Instagram and clarified on Twitter: "Yes, In another world I wish I could have pink hair & blue eyes & covered in sparkles."
