Best known for wacky sitcoms like Worst Week and Family Tools, Kyle Bornheimer will tackle darker material with a recurring role on A&E's upcoming crime drama Those Who Kill, opposite Chloe Sevigny. Bornheimer will play Paul, a married dad whom Sevigny's Pittsburgh homicide detective first meets at a Chuck E. Cheese-type restaurant.

"I'm excited to see where the writers take 'Cheese Dad,' as they're affectionately calling him," says Bornheimer, who acknowledges the grisly drama, adapted from a Danish TV series by veteran X Files scribe Glen Morgan, is a change of pace for him. "There's so much exciting cable drama going on — for an actor, it's a fun time to be working."

The serial-killer thriller costars British actor James D'Arcy (who played Anthony Perkins in Hitchcock) as professor who consults on Sevigny's investigations; 24 alum James Morrison as her police boss; and Shameless bartender Kerry O'Malley as a medical examiner. The recurring roster also includes Homeland's Omid Abtahi and The Sopranos' Michael Rispoli as fellow cops and House's Anne Dudek as D'Arcy's wife.
