The Last Man on Earth is getting some company. The new Fox comedy starring Will Forte is adding a few familiar faces to its cast.
TV Guide Magazine has learned Kristen Schaal (Bob's Burgers) will play a character named Carol Pilbasian, and Mad Men vet January Jones will play a woman named Melissa. Mel Rodriguez (Enlisted) and Cleopatra Coleman (Step Up Revolution) have also signed on as Todd and Erica, respectfully. Details about the new characters are being kept under wraps, with portions of the story being told via flashbacks.
The Last Man on Earth tells the story of an average guy (Forte) who finds himself alone and trying to survive at the end of the world. The series is created and written by Forte, who executive producers along with Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Seth Cohen.
The Last Man on Earth premieres Sunday, March 1 at 9/8c on Fox.
