Country singer Kevin Sharp has died, according to a statement on his official website. He was 43.
"Kevin died due to ongoing complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues," the statement read. Sharp's mother told CNN that the complications stemmed from cancer treatment Sharp underwent when he was a teenager. "He had a good, strong heart," she said. "He's not hurting anymore."
