Ray Romano guest stars on Monday's new Kevin Can Wait
Back in the day, The King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond used to crossover all the time. Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) and Ray Barone (Ray Romano) were buddies, and Ray guest starred on The King of Queens four times.
And now that nostalgia train is pulling back into the station, as Ray Romano is making an appearance on Kevin James' new show Kevin Can Wait -- only this time he's unloveable.
Romano christens Kevin Can Wait's move to 8/7c as Vic, the obnoxious father of Kevin's son Jack's (James DiGiacomo) new friend. Kevin and Donna (Erinn Hayes) can't stand Vic and his wife Brandi (Lindsay Broad), so they set out to sabotage the boys' friendship.
In this clip, Vic arrives at the Gables' home and immediately starts being offensive, making crude jokes about how when he hit his midlife crisis it was either get a Porsche or a trophy wife, but he ended up getting both. Also, he's just wearing that hat, which should make anyone immediately suspicious. A hat like that announces that someone is a douche the same way that bright colors announce a tree frog is poisonous.
Kevin Can Wait airs Mondays at its new time 8/7c on CBS.
