Pop star Kesha claims her longtime producer Dr. Luke has been sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally abusing her since she signed with him 10 years ago, according to a new lawsuit obtained byTMZ.com. Dr. Luke has already responded, unleashing a countersuit alleging an unfounded extortion plot crafted by Kesha and her mom.

Kesha's suit claims Dr. Luke, whom she signed with at the age of 18, would drug her and force himself upon her. The singer says she once was forced to drink with him and take what he called "sober pills," and woke up naked and sore in his bed with no recollection of how she got there.

The lawsuit also details physical abuse, including one day she says Dr. Luke was "violently thrashing his arms at her," forcing her to escape barefoot down the Pacific Coast Highway and hide in the mountains.

Mark Geragos, Kesha's lawyer, told TMZ, "This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke."

Kesha's claims also come several months after the "Tik Tok" singer received treatment for an eating disorder, which she says was a result of her abuse by Luke.

In his countersuit, also obtained by TMZ, Dr. Luke alleges that Kesha's mother Pebe and Kesha's new management firm are slandering his name and making false accusations to get Kesha out of her contract with him. Luke also says he's had a copy of Kesha's lawsuit for months, and she had been threatening to file it unless he let her go. Luke's lawyer, Christine Lepera, also claims that Kesha and her mom have admitted the statements in her lawsuit are false.

Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, is also known for his work with Kelly Clarkson ("Since U Been Gone"), Pink ("Who Knew") and Katy Perry ("I Kissed a Girl"), among others.
