Kendall Jenner Slams Media for Calling Her Too Skinny: "It's Not a Nice Feeling"

Kendall Jenner's family may be in the spotlight constantly thanks to the success of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but that doesn't mean the 17-year-old likes all of the attention that comes her way.

"I'm constantly criticized for being too skinny," Jenner tells Harper's Bazaar Arabia. "I'm trying to gain weight but my body won't let it happen. What people don't understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat. It's not a nice feeling."

Jenner has been modeling — both on the runway and on magazine covers — since she signed with the Wilhelmina modeling agency at 14. She also designs a clothing line for retailer PacSun with her sister, Kylie. Despite the critics, Jenner says she is still focused on pursuing work in the fashion world.

"I'm trying my best with what I want to do, which is modeling," she tells the magazine. "I'm just doing my own thing."
