These Videos Will Change Everything You Thought About Kellan Lutz

Who knew he was such a big science nerd?

Kellan Lutz is known mainly for two things: playing one of the sparkly vampires in Twilight and having a ridiculously good body. But as mama always said, don't judge a book by its cover, and Lutz is far more than just a pretty face.

Before pursuing acting, the Bullseyehost studied chemical engineering at Chapman University. And though he now makes his living kicking butt on-screen, Lutz never lost his passion for science. So when we asked Lutz to show off his nerdy side by teaching us a few science experiments, the actor only had one request: He wanted to do something with fire, and we were more than happy to oblige. (Note: These experiments were conducted in a controlled environment and we took all safety precautions. Do not try at home.)

For Lutz's first experiment, he showed us how to turn every day teabags into flying fireballs - something which is much easier -- and safer -- than it sounds.

As any Nickelodeon fan knows, there's nothing better than a good slime. So for his next experiment, Lutz revealed the secrets behind creating the perfect gooey concoction. And parents be warned: This one gets messy!

Lastly, Lutz showed us how to make elephant toothpaste, a delightful foam geyser you can make out of common household materials.
