Fox's The Followingand NBC's Smash are both serving up sexy love triangles — with a bisexual bent.
In last night's fourth episode of The Following, the kidnappers — Billy/Paul (Adan Canto), Will/Jacob (Nico Tortorella) and Denise/Emma (Valorie Curry) — had a threesome in the shower. "There were tears coming down our faces during filming," Tortorella says of the scene, which took two hours to shoot. "We are very emotional." Curry agrees: "This is just the beginning. Our sexual chemistry lives on as an important component of our relationship."
Smash's triangle is tamer, with Karen (Katharine McPhee) falling for singer-songwriter Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan), who is also lusted after by his gay writing partner, Kyle (Andy Mientus). But this trio likely won't reach the shower. "There's a hint of unrequited love," says Mientus, "but Jimmy is straight as an arrow, and they've been friends since they were in diapers."
