They get paid more than the Rolling Stones

Forbes' annual list of music's top earners is out, and Katy Perry is surfing with Left Shark on a ridiculous amount of cash as this year's highest-grossing musician.

The "Roar" singer brought in a total of $135 million thanks to her Prismatic world tour. According toForbes, Perry brought in over $2 million per city she visited this year. Not only is Perry the highest grossing musician, but she's the third highest-paid celebrity on the planet, period. Somewhere out there Russell Brand should be seriously regretting his choices.

Touring also brought in a lot of dough for One Direction, who scored the No. 2 spot. The boys will have no shortage of funds during their break in 2016 after bringing in over seven figures per concert this year for a total of $130 million (that's twice the pay of the Rolling Stones, FYI).

One Direction's music video is proof "Perfect" is about Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift comes in at No. 4 with $80 million since her 1989 tour began halfway through the year - but Forbes speculates she'll top the list next year. She comes in behind fellow country star Garth Brooks who racked up $90 million in concert revenue.

Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris snuggled himself in at No. 6 and $66 million thanks to huge DJ-gig prices and a sweet endorsement deal with Armani. Justin Timberlake (No. 7, $63.6 million) and Diddy (No. 8, $60 million), also made the list thanks to lucrative endorsement deals with Bud Light and Sony and Diageo's Ciroc Vodka respectively.

Former top earner Lady Gaga rounds out the list at No. 10 with $59 million thanks to her cosmetic lines with Versace and MAC. You can see the entire list here.
