Katie Couric Is Engaged

Katie Couric celebrated the holiday weekend by getting engaged to her boyfriend John Molner, People reports.

The financier, 50, proposed to Couric at sunset in East Hampton, N.Y., after nearly two years of dating.

This will be the second marriage for Couric, 56, whose first husband Jay Monahan died from colon cancer in 1998. She has two daughters from that marriage, Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17.
