Kate Levering Will Reprise Reese Witherspoon's Role in NBC's Cruel Intentions

Drop Dead Diva alum Kate Levering has been added to the cast of NBC's reboot of the film Cruel Intentions,Deadline reports.

Sarah Michelle Gellar joins NBC's Cruel Intentions pilot

Levering will play Annette Hargove, originally portrayed by Reese Witherspoon in the 1999 cult favorite.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is slated to reprise her role as Kathryn Merteuil - who is vying for control of Valmont International and is stunned to discover that Annette, who she wronged years ago, has re-appeared in her life along with Bash Casey (Taylor John Smith), son of her dead brother Sebastian, played in the film by Ryan Philippe.
