Karina Smirnoff Sets Wedding Date

Karina Smirnoff and her fiancé, Detroit Tigers pitcher Brad Penny, have set a date for their upcoming Caribbean wedding, according to People: Jan. 21, 2012.

The destination nuptials will be received by a "diverse and colorful" crowd, according to Smirnoff. "I have a lot of family and friends that live in Europe and Israel, and Brad has a big family in Oklahoma," she explains.

Karina and Brad became engaged in October

Before then, she'll have to choose between the six wedding dresses she's looking at. "I'm very open to the colors, the setting, the flowers. I'm very easy," says the 33-year-old Dancing with the Stars pro of her ceremony. "The only thing I do want is that big dress with the train. Even if it's just me walking in a dress, I'm all good."
