West was charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft, each of which have maximum penalties of six months, for an altercation with videographer Daniel Ramos at Los Angeles Airport, in which West attempted to steal Ramos' camera. West quickly fled the scene, but the incident was caught on tape. Paramedics were called and Ramos was transported to a hospital where he was treated for injuries, his lawyer Gloria Allred told TMZ.
West will be arraigned Oct. 10.
