Justin Bieber pleaded guilty on Thursday to assault and careless driving, CBC News reports. However, a dangerous driving charge against Bieber was dropped.
Bieber was fined $750 in Canadian dollars for the careless driving charge and received an absolute discharge on the assault charge.
Bieber was arrested and charged in the case in August, after his ATV collided with a minivan outside of Stratford, Ontario. The singer then got into a physical altercation with the other driver.
According to Bieber's lawyer, he was on a "peaceful retreat" with Selena Gomez at the time of the incident, when they were disrupted by paparazzi.
Despite Bieber's insistence his bad behavior is behind him, the past continues to catch up with the singer. In April, Argentina issued an arrest warrant for Bieber stemming from a 2013 scuffle between a paparazzo and his bodyguard.
