Julianna Margulies has basically confirmed that she's leavingThe Good Wife after this season.

While giving a speech honoring The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King at the Casting Society of America's third annual Artios Awards on Thursday, Margulies joked that she only attended the event because she's going to need another job soon.

CBS boss weighs in on The Good Wife's future

"[The Kings] think I'm here for them, but I'm unemployed come April, and I think you [casting directors] haven't seen me in a while, at least not in person, so I thought I should show up," Margulies said, according to Vulture.

The Kings announced last week that they are leaving the drama at the end of the current seventh season. However, CBS is still considering ordering another season following the showrunners' departures. But if Margulies refuses to return, that could be the final nail in the show's coffin, because what is The Good Wife without Alicia Florrick? (Answer: Probably nothing worth watching.)
