Johnny Depp Gave a Bizarre, Slurred Speech at the Hollywood Film Awards

Was Johnny Depp drunk?

The actor certainly appeared a bit off during a bizarre, rambling speech while presenting the documentary Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon the Hollywood Film Awards Friday night.

After wobbling over to the microphone, Depp kicked things into high gear. "That's the weirdest microphone I ever saw in my life," the actor said, failing to adjust the equipment to his height.

"I'm not very good at this thing," Depp then confessed, before powering through the speech as though he had just woken up from wisdom teeth surgery. The presentation ended with a bang when Depp failed to read the prompter, cursed and admitted, "It's one of those nights" before getting cut off by CBS.

Bravo, Johnny. Bravo.
