What the what?
Can a show jump the shark before it's even aired?
Ryan Murphy seems to be testing the limits of this question with his latest television endeavor, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson
FX announced Wednesday that John Travolta has joined the 10-part miniseries as O.J. Simpson's defense attorney Robert Shapiro. The Oscar-nominated actor, who hasn't starred in a television series since Welcome Back, Kotter in the '70s, will also serve as producer for the anthology series.
Rounding out the bizarre cast are David Schwimmer as Simpson's friend and attorney Robert Kardashian, Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson himself and Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.
