John Stamos pled no contest on a DUI charge Tuesday in Los Angeles, receiving three years of probation, TMZreports. Charged this summer with driving under the influence, the Full House star will not face jail time, although he will be required to get drug and alcohol counseling and attend 52 Alcohol Anonymous meetings. He did not appear in court but was represented by an attorney.
Officers pulled Stamos over after he was driving erratically in Beverly Hills on June 12. He was then hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received a citation. He tweeted a note of thanks and appreciation to the Beverly Hills police and Cedars-Sinai the next day, and later spent 30 days in rehab. He was officially charged in October.
With all that behind him, Stamos is no doubt looking to move on. The actor tweeted excitement about the Thanksgiving episode of his Fox sitcom Grandfathered airing Tuesday. The Fuller House reboot airs on Netflix next year.
