Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake gave us a sixth installment of their "History of Rap" bit on The Tonight Show Wednesday, performing a medley of hits by artists like the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and Jay Z.

But, when Fallon launched into N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton," Timberlake cut him off.

"We've been through this before," Timberlake stage-whispered to Fallon. "You are not straight outta Compton. You're straight outta upstate New York."

A chagrined Fallon agreed to stop the song, but quickly recovered and moved on to Salt-N-Pepa's "Let's Talk About Sex."
