Ouch! Two Months After Almost Losing a Finger, Jimmy Fallon Chips His Tooth

Poor Jimmy Fallon!

The Tonight Show host posted a photo from an emergency visit to the dentist on Friday showing off a freshly chipped tooth.

In early July, he almost lost a finger to ring avulsion when he tripped and caught his wedding ring on the edge of his desk on set. (Pro tip: Don't Google "ring avulsion" while eating. Or ever, really.)

And the tooth chipping incident is actually related to that.

"Chipped front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury," he wrote with the pic. Ouch!

Maybe NBC should keep him in bubble wrap when he isn't taping?
