"We play sisters," Lawrence told the New York Times on Wednesday, and added that the script is almost done. "It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now."
As it turns out, the Hunger Games star is a big fan of Schumer's and contacted the comedienne after seeing Trainwreck. The e-mail read, "I don't know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I'm in love with you." And thus, a correspondence, collaboration and friendship were born.
"Amy and I were creatively made for each other," Lawrence said of working on the new movie script. "We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life." The news also helps add some context to photos that Schumer posted in July of the two jet skiing together. "We really hit it off, to say the least," said Lawrence.
